Perinatal Mental Health Specialist

- We are seeking experienced professionals to work within our Perinatal Mental Health Face-to-Face location in Rockhampton, QLD.
The Role:
Purpose of the Position:This position involves delivering face-to-face psychological support to expectant and new parents at Gidget House, located at Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Centre. Our clinicians provide individual, couple, and parent-infant therapies for women and their partners addressing issues like perinatal depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress under Medicare's Better Access initiative with remuneration via Medicare Rebate.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for perinatal mental health issues.
- Provide clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
- Support client sourcing and administrative tasks.
- Service promotion and marketing activities.
Requirements include proficiency in psychological assessment, AHPRA registration with endorsements in psychology or accreditation as a mental health social worker and minimum 3 years post-registration experience particularly with perinatal clients. If interested but lack specific experience, a free Perinatal & Infant Mental Health Training program is available for clinicians with general mental health experience.
