Job Overview:

Susquehanna International Group is seeking a skilled software engineer to join its Electronic Options Trading Technology team. In this role, you will collaborate with Quantitative Research and Trading teams to rapidly develop trading signals, tools, and strategies used by the Options trading desk across APAC markets.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using Python as a primary development language. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and develop scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region
  • Collaborate closely with Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure, and Strategy Developer Teams
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality software technologies
  • Develop and manage projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release

Requirements:

">
  • 3-5+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented (OO) language such as Python, C#, Java, or C++
  • 2+ years in backend systems level development in Python
  • Experience with C++ is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products
