The Role: Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic/HD Fitter - Site Based
We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic/HDFitter to join our team at our project site in QLD. As a member of our efficient and friendly team, you will report to the shift Leading Hand and be responsible for maintaining and repairing Caterpillar equipment on our mobile fleet in the field and workshop areas.
About The Job
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Experience working on Caterpillar or similar Mining Equipment
- Solid knowledge in Hydraulic, pneumatic, and drivetrain systems
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Working@ Heights and Confined Space HRWL preferred
- Dogging licence
- Ability to meet all site access requirements including Coal Board medical and Standard 11 where required
- HR Drivers licence highly regarded
About You
- You hold a strong passion for quality work, ensuring fleet reliability exceeds customer expectations
- Highly skilled in safe and efficient maintenance and repair of powertrain and hydraulic systems
