Surgical Specialist Position in Tropical Northern Territory

The Role:
As a Surgery Registrar, you will work under the guidance of the Head of Unit and be responsible for assessing, planning, providing ongoing treatment, and discharging General Surgery patients. Additionally, you will assist in supervising relevant Interns and/or HMOs on a daily basis and contribute to the education and supervision of Medical Students.

The Facility:
We are seeking a Surgical Specialist to join our team at this Tertiary and level 3 Teaching Hospital. With close to 400 beds and a staff of around 1,700, it caters to a population of 200,000 across a catchment area that includes urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University, and it boasts an onsite Medical School.
What We Offer:
$220,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as relocation assistance and professional development opportunities.

- MUST either hold General, Provisional or Specialist Registration with AHPRA
- NZ FRACS apply now
- NZ SMO willing to be RACS assessed upon job offer
