The position of Chief Anaesthetist has become available at a leading healthcare institution in the Northern Territory. As a specialist anaesthetist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical expertise in anaesthesia, acute pain, and peri-operative medicine.
Location: This tropical city is known for its stunning waterfronts, vibrant multicultural atmosphere, and proximity to breathtaking natural landscapes. With a warm climate year-round, it boasts a relaxed, outdoor lifestyle featuring bustling markets, festivals, and a rich Indigenous culture.
The Role: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across two facilities, including a principal tertiary hospital and a satellite campus providing lower acuity elective surgical services. Your experience and expertise will cover both facilities and outreach services.
Requirements:
- Hold the FANZCA or postgraduate qualifications
- Experience in anaesthetics meeting ANZCA requirements for practising in this position
- For overseas applicants, have your training assessed by ANZCA and be found substantially comparable
