We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Disability Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with individuals who require support, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
FlexiHome Care provides flexible support services to disabled individuals of all ages, prioritizing their needs and goals. Our goal is to provide exceptional care, enabling our participants to achieve their full potential within our capabilities.
- Provide person-centred care to help customers attain their objectives and aspirations
- Contribute to customer support plans, tailoring them to meet individual needs
- Offer support with personal care, living skills, transportation, social activities, medication management, and other required areas
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records on a daily basis
- Nurture professional relationships with customers, families, caregivers, and key stakeholders, fostering trust and cooperation
- Pursue innovative approaches to enhance the customer experience, collaborating with our growing team
- Cert 3 or 4 in disability, individual support, aged care, or nursing
- Access to a reliable vehicle (license and comprehensive insurance)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply)
- A minimum of six months' experience in disability, aged care, or nursing sector
- Proactive, able to take initiative, and eager to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Capacity to work under pressure and deadlines with flexibility
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
