Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Geelong. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering mental health assessments and consultations to consumers and their families, as well as providing leadership and management supervision to clinical staff.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consumers, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Additionally, they will have experience working in a mental health setting and a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a mental health setting.
  • Experience in leadership and management roles is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
