Emergency Medicine Registrar/Senior Registrar Role

We are seeking dynamic and passionate professionals to join our Emergency Department as Registrars/Senior Registrars in Emergency Medicine. This role is ideal for doctors committed to delivering high-quality clinical care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.

Our Emergency Department is a 43-bed unit with 45,000 annual presentations, offering a diverse range of cases and opportunities for skill development. We provide direct supervision from consultants from 8am to midnight daily and support from ICU with ECMO, 24-hour cardiac interventional angiography, and all major specialties.

This role is perfect for doctors who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing acute resuscitation and team supervision. You will have access to paid teaching time, primary and fellowship exam prep support, special skills rotations, and strong mentorship from experienced FACEMs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care in the Emergency Department
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the team
  • Participate in ongoing education and training
  • Develop and maintain skills in acute resuscitation and team supervision

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience at Registrar level in Emergency MedicineAMC Part 1 completed and eligible for AHPRA registration (General or Limited)Demonstrated skills in acute resuscitation and team supervisionEngagement in or plans to join ACEM/ACRRM training pathwayExposure to Australian or comparable health system
