Emergency Medicine Specialist

Job Description:

As a senior clinical professional in emergency medicine, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with complex trauma, medical, surgical, and paediatric presentations.

Our team is seeking an expert in emergency medicine to join our dynamic, well-resourced Emergency Department at a major referral centre. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing leadership and supervision to registrars and junior doctors.

The hospital offers opportunities to contribute to advanced teaching and mentoring for ACEM trainees and medical students, making it perfect for individuals who value career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality emergency medicine care across a busy tertiary ED
  • Providing leadership and supervision to registrars and junior doctors
  • Participating in the department's education, research, and quality improvement programs
  • Engaging in interdepartmental collaboration to ensure safe, timely care and efficient patient flow
