As a Mechanical Draftsperson, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, plans, and schematics using REVIT and AutoCAD, or other drafting software, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project specifications and standards.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, clients, and other team members to integrate building systems into overall building design, resolving conflicts and ensuring efficient spatial allocation.

Additionally, you will review and revise drawings to ensure they reflect design changes, meet regulatory requirements, and align with project objectives. You will also prepare and maintain technical documentation, including construction drawings, schedules, and material lists.

Effective communication with internal team members and external stakeholders is crucial to clarify design intent, address technical issues, and support project milestones and deadlines.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical drafting within the building services sector.
  • Proven experience in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • High levels of proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.
