Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description:

This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel to customer sites to perform preventative maintenance and repair activities on engines and related components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in a professional manner and ensure prompt attention to their needs.
  • Apply specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs.
  • Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to more experienced technicians or supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and communicate effectively with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in field service work, preferably with engine products.
  • An associate's degree or equivalent technical certification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
