
Speech Pathologist

A speech pathologist is sought for a leadership role in our Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) team at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
- This role will provide specialised services to patients referred for assessment and management of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders.
The successful candidate will work closely with the ENT Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of speech pathologists providing specialist services to patients.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for the assessment and management of voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs for staff and students.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech pathology.
