Job OverviewMaintenance Supervisor - LeaderWe are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our technical team in carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance activities, repairing and maintaining equipment.Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.
  • Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building compliance and contractor management systems.
  • Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
  • Manage maintenance related purchase orders to ensure smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all operational equipment.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization, including regular attendance to leadership meetings and committees.
A Day in the LifeIn every shift, you'll be leading a team to ensure everyone has the equipment they need and that it's running properly.That involves monitoring processes so that regulations and policies are followed and ensuring that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.You'll suggest improvements to make our systems more efficient and productive.About The TeamOur Maintenance Engineering team keeps equipment performing at its best.We maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network, including work on exciting technology.From installing automated systems to overseeing general maintenance and repairing key equipment, our team handles most aspects of equipment maintenance.This includes keeping buildings legally compliant so everyone is safe and our sites operate at maximum efficiency.Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal Trade Qualifications: Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent trade qualifications formally recognised in Australia.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, FMCG, manufacturing and/or logistics.
  • Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing/distribution center environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.
  • Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  • Experience in contractor management.
