Job Overview

This role is part of a digital project unit and will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering a bespoke tax revenue management system. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, other developers, and the project tech lead, reporting directly to the project manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# .NET Core and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with the project team to design system architecture and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Build web applications and APIs to support both internal and external users.
  • Integrate systems with SQL Server databases, ensuring robust data management and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical documentation and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Deliverables:

  • Deliver code to expected quality standards in accordance with documented and agreed software protocols.
  • Deliver code to the published sprint schedule.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have highly skilled programming experience, preferably with C# .NET Core. Additional essential skills include experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server, HTML/CSS/Javascript/Typescript, VueJS, .NET SPA, Entity Framework, WebAPI/Web Applications, Atlassian tools, system architecture concepts, SQL server, database design, and network design principles.

Desirable Skills:

Additional desirable skills include demonstrated skills with developing desktop applications in WPF/XAML/web apps, SPAs, REST, SOAP, MQ web services, dependency injection, unit testing, writing and reading technical documentation, and understanding system architecture concepts.
