We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Facilities Engineer to join our team at Macquarie Technology Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading provider of data centre services and be part of a dynamic team that delivers world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and scalability of our data centre infrastructure
  • Conduct capacity planning to meet business needs, including rack allocation, power supply, and cooling systems
  • Review facilities and services to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Maintain physical access and logical security protocols to protect sensitive information
  • Participate in change management processes to ensure seamless operations
  • Respond to facility and security incidents in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Good knowledge of building services, including structural, DRUPS/UPS, HV/LV switchgear, electrical design, generators, security systems, HVAC, fire, security, EMS, ECMS, BMS
