As a High Voltage Substation Technician, you will play a critical role in the operation and maintenance of our high voltage substation network. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.

You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve complex problems, develop solutions to improve efficiency and processes, and investigate faults to provide feedback to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance, repair, construction, and operation of transmission substation plant and equipment
  • Investigate faults, provide feedback to stakeholders, and look for opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
  • Perform critical maintenance, commissioning and project works
  • Resolve complex problems and support our network to deliver safe and reliable electricity to customers
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qld Electrical Fitter / Mechanic licence
  • Current LVR & CPR Certification
  • High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
  • A current 'C' Class drivers licence
