Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Participate in education and training programs, staying up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including night shifts and weekends.
