About the Role
We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team, who is passionate about providing quality in-home care services. The successful candidate will be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour.
Responsibilities include:
- Transportation assistance
- Shopping assistance
- Personal care assistance
- Companionship
- Meal preparation
- Social and community access
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous experience in aged care, disability or home and community care
- Experience in providing care for aged care or disability clients
- Knowledge of person-centred care principles and safety regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient and empathetic attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work different shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable car with fully comprehensive insurance
Qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Care or Certificate IV in Ageing Support
- Valid National Police Check
- Updated First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
- Blue Card
The successful candidate will receive ongoing support and supervision from our dedicated Care Coordination Team. Ongoing professional development and opportunities for career advancement are also available.
