Supportive Care Worker Opportunity

The Supportive Care Worker role is a vital position within our organisation, focused on providing high-quality support and mentoring to foster and kinship carers, enabling them to meet the needs of children and young people in their care.

Key Qualifications and Experience
  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Human Services or a related discipline; or relevant Diploma with relevant experience; or substantial experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience in the support and mentoring of children and young people in out-of-home care.
  • Current vaccination against whooping cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement, unless applicable exemption provided.
  • A current Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or above Driver's License.
  • A positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and ability to obtain a positive Police Check and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
