Job Description

Our organization is seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience performing phlebotomy and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment, instruments, and work areas to collect patient samples.
  • Conduct designated laboratory testing.
  • Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures on patients.
  • Identify and label specimens.
  • Instruct patients on urine collection procedures.
  • Perform bleeding time tests and urine dipstick tests.
  • Perform sweat chloride collection procedure or drug of abuse urine collection procedure.
  • Enter laboratory data into the computer system.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience performing phlebotomy.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting is preferred.
  • BLS Certification.
