About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you will deliver supports in partnership with families to help them achieve their goals, using evidence-informed best practice.
You will use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family. This includes empowering families, caregivers, and professionals by helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills.
You will connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose. Additionally, you will keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system.
As part of this role, you will guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree qualification in Early Childhood.
- Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
- A proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

BenefitsThis is a full-time or part-time (4 days) position until 30 June 2025, located in Camden, Campbelltown, Wollondilly, and Wingecarribee on the lands of the Dharawal People. No billable hours are required.
You will enjoy flexibility to work from home, our Campbelltown/Camden office, or within the community. A compensation package of up to $18,550 free income tax per year through Salary Packaging and opportunity to purchase additional leave is also available.
