Salary Package

This rewarding role offers an estimated salary of up to $18,550 per year in tax-free income, thanks to our comprehensive Salary Packaging program. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase additional leave, providing you with more flexibility to balance your work and personal life.

Job Description

As an Early Years Professional at EACH Victoria, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities. Your expertise in child development will enable you to identify potential issues and implement effective strategies to help families practice at home and other settings.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personalized supports to families, empowering them to achieve their goals through evidence-informed best practices.
  • Tailoring support options to meet the unique needs of each child and family, using assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development.
  • Empowering families, caregivers, and professionals by building their skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Connecting children and families with their community to ensure they feel included and can participate in activities they choose.
  • Maintaining thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within the NDIA business system.
  • Guiding families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree qualification in Early Childhood.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • A proven track record of supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
