Senior Financial Professional Opportunity

This is an outstanding chance to join a quality business services firm in Parramatta as a Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager. You will work closely with one of the Principals of the firm predominantly in the Parramatta office, assisting him to manage and expand his portfolio of clients.

  • Manage client engagements (working on a range of advisory, tax planning, and compliance matters)
  • Supervise day-to-day assignments (ensuring staff are aware of their responsibilities, allocate work, review work, coordinate workflow to ensure maximum outcomes, mentor and train staff)
  • Meet with clients and engage with various stakeholders
  • Work on client assignments as instructed by the Principal
  • Participate in practice development and attend management functions

You must have previous business services and client-facing experience. At least 5 years' experience at a senior level within an Australian public practice is required.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to build and lead a high-performing team
  • Highly developed technical skills in producing financial reports for companies, partnerships, and trusts
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills
  • Proficiency with technology and a range of accounting software systems
  • Ability to take ownership and pride in your work and tasks

A competitive salary is offered, ranging from $110,000 to $135,000 depending upon your skills and experience. Bonus structures are also in place to recognize your performance and commitment to the role.
