About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for representing client trust and assurance branch to defence and other government organizations' security stakeholders to ensure the TS ICT Authorisation Framework is applied in a consistent and coordinated fashion.

Liaising with multiple projects and capability stakeholders to assist in design and documentation of ICT system security controls is also a key part of this role. You will define scope of the assessment, assess the security controls, and produce security assessment reports in accordance with ISM and PSPF standards.

Additionally, you will develop assessment briefs and presentations for senior decision makers to support capability's authorisation to operate. Contribute to enhancement of ICT security policy and documentation, and implement practices, technologies, and governance. This role may require some travel and may require some role-specific interstate travel.

Essential Criteria

For this role, we are looking for individuals who have demonstrated security experience within complex ICT environments including:

  • A full IRAP assessment for a Federal Government Agency has been completed
  • Possess significant experience of security assessment and risk management at an Enterprise scale

Knowledge of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice is also essential.
