Pharmacy Category Leadership Opportunity

We seek an experienced leader to drive our pharmacy category forward, leveraging strong channel expertise and a deep understanding of the health & wellness sector.

About the Role
  • Category Strategy: Develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with business objectives and customer priorities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive alignment and shared success.
  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives across the channel, introducing new ways of working, process improvements, and capability development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Commercial Performance: Own the commercial performance of the pharmacy channel, including promotional planning, pricing strategy, and performance tracking.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize shopper insights and data analytics to inform strategy, identify growth opportunities, and measure impact.
Requirements
  • Possess a bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years in senior roles across Category Management or Customer/Channel leadership, with a strong track record of delivering strategic outcomes.
  • Proven experience in the pharmacy channel, particularly with Chemist Warehouse and health & wellness categories.
  • Exceptional skills in data analysis, insight generation, and strategic planning to inform category decisions and commercial strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain influential relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
