Job Summary

We are seeking a Trolley Collection Driver to join our Proactive Services Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. With full training provided on our trolley collection vehicles, you will undergo an assessment to ensure your success in this role.

Job Description

Trolley Collection Responsibilities:

  • Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
  • PUSH trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
  • Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
  • Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
  • Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
  • Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
  • You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates)
  • Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Estimated Salary

$25.00 per hour based on location and experience.
