Senior Project Manager: Closure and Asset Transition

  • Lead closure transition projects, providing expert advice to clients.
  • Advocate for closure best practices, offering guidance to management on market strategies and positioning.
  • Develop asset transition and closure strategies to grow Jacobs' resources business in ANZ and globally.
  • Support studies from clients that may also involve downstream delivery phases.

With a passion for and experience in delivering complex mine closures assessments, environmental impact assessments, and approvals, as well as asset transition projects from project delivery, technical, and commercial perspectives, you will thrive in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver a range of projects in Closure and Asset Transition.
  • Manage delivery of resources and energy generation infrastructure closure and transition projects, including assessing existing information and determining data gaps, options analysis, closure readiness, study management for feasibility studies, projects scheduling, controls, and management.
  • Develop and manage multi-disciplinary closure / asset transition concept plans, closure plans, forward work plans, studies, and projects.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients - serve as a trusted advisor to select Jacobs clients across the new energy and resources sector.
  • Identify and leverage Jacobs' existing capability and experience to build a Closure and Asset Transition team across key disciplines including Power and Energy, Cost Control and Estimating, Environment and Approvals, Geotechnical, Waste, Water Resources and Hydrology, Groundwater, and Sustainability.
