**Leadership Role for Closure and Rehabilitation Expert**

This leadership position oversees the Closure and Rehabilitation team within zinc, nickel, and copper assets in Australia. The successful candidate will provide effective management to ensure the delivery of Closure and Rehabilitation projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide timely and accurate information to senior management on Closure and Rehabilitation matters.
  • Promote proactive Closure and Rehabilitation planning strategies and support leadership on team plans and targets.
  • Steer strategic and project risk assessments, including legal compliance, environmental, health and safety, financial and social risks.
  • Ensure Environmental Authority obligations are known and understood.
  • Manage operational costs effectively and prudently.

**Requirements:**

  • A tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline such as Environmental Science.
  • Multiple years of experience in the environment field within the mining industry with several years of leadership experience.
  • Strong planning and project management skills.
