Are you passionate about enhancing the lives of young individuals in out of home care?

The Community Living & Respite Services team is seeking dedicated support professionals to empower young people in developing essential life skills, facilitating enriching experiences, and providing assistance to help them reach their personal aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist young individuals with daily living activities.
  • Support with medication management and administration.
  • Facilitate access to community resources and recreational activities.
  • Encourage educational achievements and maintain a safe home environment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Children, Youth & Families or a commitment to complete this qualification within a year.
  • A strong alignment with the vision and values of CLRS.
  • Valid driver's license from Victoria or NSW.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Completion of three COVID-19 vaccinations (or an exemption).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting individuals exhibiting challenging behaviors.
  • Knowledge of positive behavior support and person-centered active support.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support – Disability.

All applicants must be willing to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate and undergo the NDIS Worker Screening Check.
