About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Youth Psychiatrist to join our dedicated mental health service in Queensland's West Moreton region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive psychiatric services to patients and their families in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Work in a consultation liaison capacity to assist mental health professionals and other units regarding child and youth assessment and case management.
  • Supervise and train Psychiatric Registrars and other medical staff.
  • Work closely with families to provide support and education regarding mental illness.
  • Participate in clinical governance by organizing peer review audits, monitoring care outcomes, and proactively managing patient feedback.
