We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Youth workers for our residential space on a part time basis across the Western suburbs and Ipswich.

**About the Role**

No day is the same, but some key responsibilities include:

- Provide person-centred support to young people
- Attend to the daily needs of the children and young people
- Maintain a home like environment for young people
- Manage challenging behaviours
- Support and encourage social, emotional, behavioural and development outcomes for children and young people
- Report writing through progress notes and reports
- liaising with Coordinators and team leaders in relation to the young people

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family intervention or other recognised qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Queensland Blue card - Paid
- Queensland Drivers License
- Reliable registered motor vehicle ( 4-door sedan)
- Comprehensive car insurance
- Current LCS2 or LCS7 or ability to complete and pass ( Please note this can take up to 4 weeks to process)
- Must be available for Weekend work, sleepovers and Support shifts
