Job Description

To deliver high-quality financial services, you will oversee regional school sport financial activities.

You will develop and implement financial systems in consultation with the Director and Regional School Sports Officer to ensure compliance with legislation and policies.

  • Review financial frameworks and procedures to support the school's obligations under the Government's financial management framework.
  • Ensure the integrity of the school's financial functions through regular oversight activities and financial performance monitoring.
  • Provide specialist advice and support on financial management and accountability to the leadership team and school community.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management
  • Develop and review systems for effective operation of school financial operations.
  • Manage school financial activities to analyse and report on financial performance against agreed objectives.
  • Implement systems to ensure financial integrity and make recommendations for improvements.
Training and Development
  • Develop and deliver training to staff on school financial management to support educational management activities.
