About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Central Adelaide Local Health Network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a designated practice setting, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive nursing services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a beginning practitioner in Mental Health Nursing to develop their skills and experience under the supervision of a designated preceptor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide direct mental health nursing care to patients in a designated group, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized care plans.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • To maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • A current practising certificate as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Enrolled or undertaking studies toward a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.
