We currently have a vacancy for a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing Support Program - February 2025 Campaign. As a beginning practitioner in Mental Health Nursing, you will be accountable to the Nurse Unit Manager for the provision of direct mental health nursing care to a designated group of consumers.

The Graduate Mental Health Nurse with the support and supervision of a designated preceptor is responsible for using the process of nursing to deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management to consumers within a designated practice setting.

This involves consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organisations. You will be part of a team that provides education, counselling, and group work directed towards the attainment of optimum consumer health and recovery.

To be successful in this role, you must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate. You should also be enrolled or undertaking studies toward a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing.

The salary for this position is approximately $76,581 per annum, based on the RN-1 classification. This includes a base salary of $72,651 plus superannuation and salary sacrifice benefits.
