Job Title: Disability Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, including supported independent living accommodation and community-based programs.
    • Assist with domestic and personal care tasks, such as meal preparation, grooming, and hygiene.
    • Help individuals access and participate in community activities, events, and services.
    • Work collaboratively with other support workers, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive support.
Requirements:
  • Essential Skills and Qualifications:
    • A current Driver's Licence
    • The ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Resilience and confidence in working with individuals with varying needs and behaviors
