Are you passionate about supporting people with disabilities and empowering them to 'get more out of life today'? We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Speech Pathologist to join our 12-month graduate program.
Job DescriptionWe are committed to providing high-quality therapeutic, positive behaviour and employment supports to individuals with disability. As a Speech Pathologist in our graduate program, you will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement individualised plans that promote independence and maximise capacity.
Your role will involve conducting assessments, developing communication strategies, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support. You will have the opportunity to work in various settings, including community clinics and homes, and will be supported by regular supervision and training.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Registration as a Speech Pathologist with the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) or eligibility to register upon graduation
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with individuals with disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
