We are seeking a highly skilled Market Data Sourcing and Procurement Analyst to join our Macquarie Market Data team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement and management of Market Data across Macquarie Group.
The team is a fast-paced global team that provides expertise and guidance on the procurement of market data across Macquarie. You will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, and technology teams to ensure the effective procurement and management of market data.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advice and analysis on market data products to ensure the best product is matched to user needs.
- Interpret and define business requirements for market data procurement.
- Analyze cost-effective ways to use data across the enterprise.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with market data suppliers.
- Manage and review contracts to ensure compliance with terms.
- Evaluate supplier product offerings and present commercial outcomes to business stakeholders.
- 3+ years of relevant procurement/market data experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience working with or for market data vendors is beneficial.
- Negotiation skills and relationship management experience.
- Experience of interpreting contractual and commercial terms, ideally from a procurement or sales perspective.
