Legislative Publishing Manager

About the Role
The ACT Government is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Republications Manager to join the Legislative Publishing Section. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Republications team, ensuring the timely publication of amended Acts and subordinate laws on the Legislation Register.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Republications team to ensure the publication of up-to-date and authorized versions of amended Acts and subordinate laws.
- Assist the Senior Director in leadership, management, and building capacity of the LPS team, including support, mentoring, training, and assisting with other legislative publishing activities.
- Supervise staff directly and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements
- Experience working in editing and publishing is highly desirable.

This is a permanent position available from 1 December 2024. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
