About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Programme Leader to lead large-scale data centre programmes from conception to completion.

This role will oversee cross-functional teams, consultants, vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes within scope, budget and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive programme plans, including lifecycle procurement, civil works, main construction, budgets, risk management and resource allocation.
  • Optimise construction programmes with contractors to enable fast deployment.
  • Manage pre-construction stages of data centre projects from design to handover.
  • Coordinate efforts across engineering, design, construction, procurement, facilities and operations teams.
  • Engage procurement and legal teams to ensure contracts support delivery objectives.
  • Lead regular programme status meetings and provide executive-level updates on progress, issues and decisions required.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in programme or project management within construction (data centre specific experience ideal).
  • Project management certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile).
  • Proven experience delivering complex, high-value projects involving construction, power, HVAC and IT Infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management capabilities (CAPEX/OPEX).
  • Tertiary education in engineering, construction, IT or related fields highly regarded.
