What you'll be responsible for

\u2022 Completion of monthly payment claim cycles to a high quality level
\u2022 Perform detailed analysis of business performance, including operational cost, unit cost and unit rates, commodity revenues
\u2022 In partnership with the Program Manager and Finance Manager Resource Recovery QLD, driving the financial performance of the contract
\u2022 Assist in the preparation and review of capital expenditure requests and monitoring and forecasting of ongoing expenditure
\u2022 Support and advise the management team on productivity and efficiency improvements and offer recommendations for reducing operating expenditures.

What you'll need to be successful

\u2022 Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent
\u2022 Demonstrated on the job experience in a similar finance role for a minimum of 3-4 years.
\u2022 Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis/reporting within a commercial business partnering capacity.
\u2022 Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of P&L drivers of performance.
