**Role Overview**

At our innovative studio, we're seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for crafting engaging motion graphics and animations that captivate audiences and effectively communicate complex ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and animate motion graphics for various marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and tutorials.
  • Utilize industry-standard tools like After Effects to create layered, dynamic animations with a strong sense of timing and rhythm.
  • Collaborate closely with writers, designers, and product teams to bring compelling stories and product benefits to life.
  • Develop a consistent yet unique visual language by building out a motion system that feels both cohesive and creative.
  • Explore novel concepts in 3D tools like Cinema4D to add depth and dimensionality to our visual identity.
  • Contribute to early-stage idea development, not just final render polish.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience designing and animating for commercial clients.
  • A diverse portfolio showcasing a range of motion and animation styles, from UI transitions to abstract storytelling.
  • Examples of experimental work that push the boundaries of motion design.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to transform rough ideas into visually stunning and narratively compelling pieces.
  • Proficiency in video production and graphic design principles.
  • Experience working with generative tools like Leonardo.Ai or similar platforms (bonus points if eager to learn).
  • Ability to thrive in a remote team environment and excel in independent work settings.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and related design software.
  • Degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or a related field (equivalent experience also considered).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of brand systems and how motion fits within them.
  • Experience working with sound design or editing software (Premiere, FinalCut Pro, Ableton, Logic etc.).
  • A keen sense of what performs well in social media or product walkthroughs.
