Underwater Photographer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled underwater photographer to join our team. This is a casual position with the potential to move to full-time, offering 20-30 hours of work per week.

Liquid Pix provides high-quality underwater portraits to families whose children are enrolled in Learn-To-Swim schools around Southeast Queensland. Our mission is to create a safe and fun environment for children to showcase their swimming skills while capturing their special moments underwater.

About You:
You must be based in Brisbane and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We require someone who has prior photography experience, preferably with knowledge of shutter speed and aperture, working with flash/strobes, and understanding of color temperature. Additionally, you should have your own transport for traveling to various locations throughout the year. A Bluecard or willingness to obtain one is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take high-quality underwater photographs of children during swimming lessons.
  • Communicate effectively with families on pool deck and maintain accurate records of photographed children.
  • Travel to different venues around Southeast Queensland and occasionally interstate for week-long stays (ACT, WA, and regional QLD).

  • Competitive hourly rate: $32.50 - $35.00.
