We are seeking an enthusiastic HPE and Outdoor Education Faculty Leader who will also teach Health & Physical Education or Outdoor Education across Secondary.

This is a leadership role within the faculty, with responsibility for curriculum oversight, team management and coordination, and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.

The successful applicant should have a passion for coming alongside staff and students so that they are well known, well loved, and well taught.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve staff and student learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • Demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Receive feedback on your teaching and leadership, and implement changes
  • Plan and run events and carnivals in a range of sports
  • Plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes
