With 17 schools in 5 states and as the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia, ACC plays a significant role in shaping young minds.

We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who will lead our HPE and Outdoor Education Faculty. This leader will also teach Health & Physical Education or Outdoor Education across Secondary.

This leadership role involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for identity, rights to work in Australia, and child protection in accordance with our policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving staff and student learning and wellbeing outcomes
  • Demonstrating exemplary teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
  • Receiving feedback on your teaching and leadership, and implementing meaningful changes
  • Planning and running events and carnivals in a range of sports
  • Collecting and analysing educational data, then devising data-driven strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes

Requirements:

  • A strong Christian faith
  • Suitable tertiary qualifications and TRBWA accreditation (or be eligible)
