About AEMO
Australian Energy Market Operator is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Energy Market Analyst. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing trends in the supply of and demand for covered gases in the east coast gas system.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and apply modelling tools and reports to monitor gas supply and demand trends.
- Provide support during abnormal gas operations and emergency events by giving advice and assisting in the identification and implementation of measures to mitigate risk.
- Conduct post-event reviews, identify and report non-compliances to management, and work with senior staff to solve or mitigate against future non-compliances.
- Develop and implement procedures, guidelines, training, and emergency exercises related to AEMO's role in monitoring and responding to east coast gas system supply reliability and adequacy risks and threats.
- Support the Gas Bulletin Board functions by ensuring industry-reported data is accurate and correctly published.
