Job Title: Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist

\Job Description

This role involves leading environmental impact assessments and approvals across various projects. As a key interface between Water Corporation and regulatory bodies, you will lead the development and implementation of environmental strategies in line with legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental approvals strategies in compliance with regulations.
  • Provide expert advice on environmental documentation, including impact assessments and management plans.
  • Communicate project outcomes and compliance obligations to stakeholders.
  • Represent Water Corporation with external stakeholders, including advocacy groups.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and environmental governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in environmental science or a related field.
  • Substantial experience in environmental impact assessments and approvals.
  • Proven track record of securing approvals under relevant legislation.
  • In-depth understanding of environmental risk assessment, planning processes, and operational compliance.
