Job Summary

To excel as a Strategic Storage Solutions Professional, you will provide pre-sales technical support for complex products/applications/solutions. This role involves using product knowledge to deliver technical expertise to sales staff and customers through presentations and demonstrations.

  • Assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications.
  • Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
  • Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility.
  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design tailored storage technology solutions to address unique customer challenges.
  • Communicate the advantages of our storage solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
  • Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems.
  • Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications and cloud services.
  • Offer insights into the storage and data management vendor ecosystem and backup solutions.
  • Create a return on investment/total cost of ownership overview and competitive advantages of solution offerings.
  • Collaborate with client executives and partner sales to create strategies for developing customer opportunities.
  • Advise on engagement and utilization of technical resources.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical specifications on storage products and services.
  • Experience working with telecom customers/service providers is essential.
  • Prior experience as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on storage technologies.
  • Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and influence Sales team.
  • Experience with EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware, or PureStorage products.
  • Prior knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application, or DevOps is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform and hybrid multi-cloud technologies.
