Therapeutic Support Worker Position

We are seeking compassionate individuals to provide high-quality, therapeutic care to young people in residential settings.

The primary caregiver will be responsible for ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and rights of each young person are always protected. With empathy, respect, and professionalism, they will support their individual needs and development.

The Therapeutic Support Worker will act as a positive role model, helping them build life skills, manage relationships, and work towards personal goals. Effective communication and collaboration within a supportive team environment are essential. The ideal candidate must uphold our values, policies, and commitment to child safety.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required. In return, you can increase your take-home pay with access to salary packaging benefits.

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant recognised qualification. Experience in the residential and community services field and in the provision of care and support to children in 'out of home care' is also desirable.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • a minimum qualification of Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or other relevant recognised qualification;">
  • current first aid level 2 (including CPR);">
  • current Victorian Driver's Licence;">
  • experience in the residential and community services field and in the provision of care and support to children in 'out of home care';">
  • experience and demonstrated ability to work with young people who have experienced past trauma and abuse which may manifest in behavioural difficulties.">
