This is a unique opportunity to join a remote healthcare program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in Northern Territory communities.

We are seeking experienced dentists to provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.

  • This locum-based role offers short-term placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.

The program focuses on providing comprehensive care to remote communities, working closely with local health professionals and stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes.

  • Key requirements include current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License, minimum of 2 years full time postgraduate clinical experience in a relevant clinical setting, minimum of 250 hours of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dentist within the past 12 months, and current CPR/BLS certification.

A successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with diverse communities.
