The Role: Carpenter

  • Mark and line out formwork using industry-approved methods to ensure structural integrity.
  • Erect and dismantle formwork as instructed, adhering to strict safety protocols and timelines.
  • Install cast ins within tolerance levels to guarantee quality workmanship.
  • Install bolts and other fixings within specified tolerances for seamless construction.
  • Assist with steel fixing when required, collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications accurately to guide the project's progress.
  • Complete concrete placement tasks if necessary, working closely with the construction team.
  • Perform other general duties as required, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to excellence.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Nationally recognized Trade Certification in Carpentry & Joinery (essential).
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience working as a Carpenter in a similar environment.
  • Previous civil construction experience within the mining and resources sectors is highly desirable.
  • HRWL with EWP certification (over 11 meters) for safe site operations.
  • A valid Working at Heights certification is preferred but not essential.
  • A nationally recognized Construction Safety Awareness card (White Card) is required.
